Our students in grades first through eighth will have the opportunity to use our Accelerated Reading software program. Accelerated Reader improves student's critical thinking skills, builds an intrinsic love of reading and helps your children reach their greatest potential.

How does this work?  Your child reads a book, when they finish they take a quiz on the computer in the library or classroom. Your child gets immediate feedback.  These assessments not only help your child improve their reading skills, but teachers can monitor and challenge each child. 

We currently are connected with Renaissance Learning's data bank.  Therefore, we have access to over 8,000 quizzes.  AR books are labeled in our library.  Also, your child can access titles on arbooks.com.  Type in the title of the book and the reading levels and point values are listed..

Due to licensing regulations, AR quizzes can only be accessed in school.
