Curriculum

The St. James curriculum places strong emphasis on basic skills. It is our belief that an excellent foundation is essential to each student's future success.

Academic offerings include math, language arts (including phonics and grammar), science, social studies, Spanish, library, computer technology, music, art, and physical education. The curriculum is supported by field trips, assemblies, and cultural events.

The curriculum follows the guidelines set forth by the Catholic Schools Office of the Diocese of Metuchen and is constantly evaluated and updated by the administration and teachers of the diocese.
