Class 1A January Newsletter Prayer Dear God, I want to start the New Year with a clean slate. Forgive me for the wrong tings I did this past year. Help me love you with all my heart. And help me love my neighbor as myself. I want to be kind to my family and friends, my classmates, and neighbors, even when it is hard. With all my heart, I love you, Lord. Key Dates Jan 3rd: School Reopens Jan 6th: Early Dismissal K-8 12:45, Parent/Teacher Conferences 1:00-3:00pm Jan 8th: Epiphany of the Lord Solemnity Jan 12th: School Liturgy 10:30am. All are welcome Jan 13th: HSA Family Movie Night 6:30pm – 8:30pm Jan 16th: Martin Luther King Day Jan 19th: Video Field Trip 1A – Bronx Zoo – “Moves and Meals” Jan 23rd: March for Life, Washington DC. Bus leaves St. James Church Jan 27th: 2nd Quarter Ends Jan 29th: Catholic School Week Starts – Open House 9:30am-12noon Jan 30th: SJS Open House – Current Parents - ECDC through 8th 9:30-11:15 and 12:45-2:30 Pauline Book Fair Jan 30th: HSA Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast and Meeting 9:00am Jan 31st: Open House for New Parents 9:30-11:15am and 12:45-2:30pm January Birthdays · Maggie · Beckett · The Thomas Family · The Vaccaro Family · The Moore Family * This month please do not send in pretzels or animal crackers. Mrs. Q and kids are asking for a little variety such as multicolored goldfish, sun chips , doritos and wheat thins. Please remember food must be nut-free and pre-packaged with ingredient list intact.
