On Sunday, February 3rd, four seventh grade students from St. James School and their families celebrated the World Day of Prayer for the Consecrated Life at St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen.  This service was a prayerful gratitude of God for the religious sisters, brothers, priests who serve in our parishes, hospitals, schools and social service agencies as dedicated and faithful witnesses to the Gospel.  Bishop Bootkoski of the Diocese of Metuchen presided.   Many parochial schools from the diocese were also in attendance.

St. James School congratulates Fr. Brian Clark O.S.B. as he celebrates Fifty years of ordination to the Priesthood.

“Let the children come to me; do not prevent them,

for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

“Amen, I say to you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of

God like a child will not enter it.”

Mark 10: 13-16
