Matthew will be the first to tell you that he is not the runner he used to be, but he still loves the sport and has competed at virtually every level from high school to college and post college. Matthew ran at Archbishop Molloy High School in Queens, NY and later at Niagara University. Matthew has run numerous marathons, including New York (twice) and Boston. Matthew was a top ten finisher at the Buffalo Marathon in 1994. Matthew also ran with the Hellgate Track Club in Astoria, Queens. Matthew is the dad of two St. James students, Aidan (grade 6) and Meaghan (grade 5). Matthew's wife Ashley is one of the class mom's for grade 6.
Michael was a New York City CHSAA champion in the 500 meters and All East-Coast USA in the 800 meters at St. Agnes High School in Manhattan. He also anchored his team's 1600 M relay at the Penn Relays at Franklin Field. Michael also ran competitively at the collegiate level at SUNY Brockport in upstate New York. Michael also was an assistant coach at a private high school in Rochester, NY during his tenure at Brockport. Michael was also heavily involved in the athletic department at St. Vincent DePaul in Gillette, NJ and was the assistant coach for the St. James Cross Country team in 2018. Michael's son Ian is currently an 8th grader at St.James.
