On April 10, 2019 the Middle School students of Saint James School participated in an annual Science Fair. There was an abundant amount of skill and creativity that flowed throughout the fair. These students thought of a science-based topic of their choice. The topics ranged from the science of baking to the relationship of a human’s sense of smell and sense of taste. They then posed a question, created a hypothesis, performed procedures, recorded data, and analyzed their data and results. They designed a tri-board with all of their information. They also had a tangible object that represented their experiment or topic. These students were able to discuss their projects to the elementary grade students. They answered any questions and provoked science-based thoughts in the younger students’ minds. Overall, they did a wonderful job and their dedication to our Science program showed in their projects.
